Coconut Oil
Coconut Oil is a botanical oil obtained from coconut shreds (Cocos nucifera L.) through the cold-pressing method, ensuring the preservation of its natural profile. Especially, due to its Lauric acid-dominant fatty acid composition, it naturally possesses a profile rich in medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) and medium-chain fatty acids (MCFA), including capric, caprylic, and myristic acid fractions. Due to its physical structure, which can remain in solid form at room temperature, it is also frequently defined as “coconut fat” in literature; this structure provides a predictable usage profile in formulation and process conditions. Natural tocopherols and polyphenolic components accompanying the fatty acid profile form the unique oil profile of coconut oil, making the product ideal for professional users with high purity expectations.
In Lipidyum’s production approach, coconut meat is processed without chemical extraction or refining, utilizing a cold-pressing method specifically designed to preserve its unique oil profile. The multi-stage filtration process maintains the oil’s natural integrity while ensuring sustainable quality across every batch.
