Hazelnut Oil
Hazelnut Oil is an edible-grade vegetable oil obtained by processing hazelnut kernels (Corylus avellana L.) using the mechanical cold-pressing method, while preserving their natural constituent profile. It is characterized by a fatty acid composition rich in oleic acid (Omega-9); together with the accompanying linoleic acid fraction, this structure forms the distinctive lipid profile of hazelnut oil.
Minor constituents naturally present in hazelnut oil, such as tocopherols, phytosterols, phenolic compounds, and squalene, contribute to the product’s characteristic structure. Along with its fatty acid composition and natural minor constituent profile, the hazelnut-specific aromatic character makes this oil a high-value-added raw material used in food, functional product development, cosmetics, and personal care formulations.
In Lipidyum’s production approach, hazelnut kernels are processed under controlled cold-pressing conditions without the application of chemical extraction or refining, with the aim of preserving the oil’s characteristic fatty acid profile, natural aroma structure, and the integrity of its minor constituents. The two-stage filtration process preserves the oil’s natural structure while ensuring a homogeneous product with a pronounced aromatic profile and consistent, repeatable quality in every batch.
