Wheat Germ Oil

Wheat Germ Oil is a botanical oil obtained from the embryonic part of the wheat grain (germ, Triticum aestivum L.) through the cold-pressing method, ensuring the preservation of its natural profile. This oil, possessing high functional value, is particularly characterized by its unsaturated fatty acid composition, including Linoleic (Omega-6) and Oleic (Omega-9) acids. High levels of alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E), along with minor components such as phytosterols, policosanols, and B-group vitamins (riboflavin, niacin), serve as significant constituents supporting the oil’s nutritional and functional value.

In Lipidyum’s production approach, wheat germ is processed under controlled cold-pressing conditions aimed at preserving the characteristic fatty acid and minor component profile. The applied two-stage filtration processes maintain the oil’s natural integrity while ensuring homogeneity and high quality in every batch, providing a sustainable quality across every batch.
